RESULTS of the VIth INTERNATIONAL JEWELLERY EXHIBITION NEW RUSSIAN
STYLE 2007
The VI-th International Jewellery Exhibition New Russian Style, which
revealed the novelties of the jewellery trade, has completed its work
on the 3 rd July. 292 jewellery companies, including 22 foreign companies
from Italy, Brazil, Czech Republic, Turkey and France, have participated
in the work of the exhibition. Everything favored the vivid activity during
the whole period of the exhibition: the time terms chosen by Russian Jewellery
Trade Club, high organization and comfort level in the unique Gostiny
Dvor atrium in the center of Moscow. 4807 trade specialists have visited
the exhibition. Total number of the visitors – 11 347.
Purposeful showcasing of the summer season jewellery novelties by the
exhibitors enhanced their commercial success. This witnesses the further
enlargement of the jewellery trade season. The exhibition indeed, has
gathered the cream of the jewellery trade, which opened the way to direct
sales.
Among the VIP-guests of the show were representatives of Moscow beau monde,
who added an atmosphere of glamour to the event. The Ural Jewellers, Almaz-Holding,
Kostromskoy Jewellery Plant, Trust Capital, GrinGor, Shar, Inter-Chas
and other famous brands have offered their exclusive jewellery to Anastasia
Volochkova, Nikos Saphonov and Clara Novikova, as well as to some famous
businessmen and politicians – the total of 534 VIP-personas who
associate Gostiny Dvor with comfort and prestige.
The campaign "Buy at Russian Jewellery Trade Club stores!" was
continued within the frames of the exhibition. This was actively supported
by the widely spread issue of the magazine Best Adornments of Russia.
It was mostly used by the regional jewellery trade as an advertising of
the jewellery stores making part of the Club's system, as well as an advertising
of the jewellery collections. The trade activity started 3 days before
the opening of the exhibition. Educational seminars "Merchandising
of the Jewellery Store", "Genius Sales Assistant" were
organized by the Education Center JUNWEX at the Moscow representative
office of the Club .
The secretariat office of the Club has significantly increased the wholesalers'
activity – as due to the busy business program, so thanks to the
cultural program of the exhibition. 2871 specialists have applied to the
Club's services during the exhibition itself. 134 companies have organized
their negotiations with suppliers through the secretariat office. 11 negotiations
of the large trade chains' top managers with the foreign exhibitors were
successfully organized and held.
Successful trade and business at the exhibition New Russian Style not
only proved the participants' intention to take part in the next year
exhibition, but also made the Organizing Committee think about the enlargement
of the exposition in May 2008 using the galleries of the Gostiny Dvor
fairgrounds.
Experience of New Russian Style exhibition has proved that the multi-level
marketing technology, applied by the consulting agency RosJewelerExpert
and Restec Junwex media-holding, as well as the Russian Jewellery Trade
Club support – guarantee an appropriate attending of the exhibition
by the retail and wholesale customers in the present competitive situation.
